The chemical corrosion rate is 58% of pure platinum, and the oxidation loss is 2.8mg/g. They are common electrical contact materials, and are used for electrical contacts with high ignition contacts of aeroengines, sensitive relays, and electric motors; Potentiometers and conductive ring brushes for sensors such as aircraft, missiles and gyroscopes.
